As our beloved Office Administrator, Karen Steelhammer, prepares for her retirement this summer, Pilgrim Lodge is hiring for a new staff role. We are adapting to the needs and opportunities of our camp program and the use of our facility as a Retreat Space and announcing a new position!
Assistant Camp Director
Are you organized, flexible and team-oriented? Do you love camp year-round? Pilgrim Lodge seeks an Assistant Camp Director! This is a year-round, full-time, Maine-based position.
The Assistant Camp Director will:
- Play a role in supporting the ministry of Pilgrim Lodge through an on-site presence during summer and retreats in the spring and fall.
- Support as an overnight liaison for programs and retreat groups (estimate of 12 weekends / year beyond the camp season).
- Connect to campers, churches, and external organizations by helping with outreach, registration and scholarship administration and be vital to support the day-to-day operation of Pilgrim Lodge.
- Engage with the staff of the Maine Conference UCC through regular staff meetings and activities.
