Families and friends of all configurations, come to the boardwalk and shores of Lake Cobbosseecontee this Labor Day weekend!
We’ll build a camp community over the weekend through fun and play, prayer and conversation, sharing meals and ping pong games. Through beloved activities like the Water Carnival, campfires, swim time and crafts, nature exploration and ice cream time, we’ll make new connections and kindle existing ones. We’ll see what new activities and experiences emerge together.
Family and Friends Camp, like all camps at PL, welcomes beliefs and questions of all kinds, making space to explore these big questions in a loving, supportive environment.
The schedule will provide opportunities for activity and rest, group time and time with those you came with. We’ll ask you to consider sharing your gifts for an interest group offering or worship planning as the many of the group bring wonderful and fun skills.
Camp is challenge by choice, and you’ll have the space you need as your family/friend group to take care of those needs, be it a baby napping, a deep conversation, or a walk through the labyrinth. The hope is folks will opt-in as much as they can, for leaning into participation helps make camp special.
Throughout the weekend, we will be led by the assurance that we’re all beloved children of God, and seek to explore a bit of the kin-dom here on earth, and pass it on after camp!
As a special bonus, Alumni Day at Camp will take place on Sunday during Friends and Family Camp. This is a great opportunity to invite someone to join you for a portion of the weekend to celebrate the relationships we share at Pilgrim Lodge!
