Pilgrim Lodge Summer Jobs 2007The Pilgrim Lodge Summer Staff is an integral part of our summer program and community. The job is intense, demanding, fun, and meaningful. If you are over 18 years old (or will be by June 2007) and are interested in living in an intentional Christian community, please take a look at our staff covenant and feel free to download an application. You must be available from June 14-August 22 although some positions may begin a few days before and last a few days after. Everyone does everything at Pilgrim Lodge, but areas of specialization are listed below with links to job descriptions. Nature Education Director Supervisor: Assistant to the Director Job Description · Offer engaging environmental education to campers · Set up nature center and outdoor skill areas · Monitor island trips and assist as needed · Offer activities during free time and interest group time such as nature walks, trips to the island, collecting or identifying species · Cooperative activities with both waterfront and the craft cabin are desirable · Make use of a variety of setting; forest, wetlands, lake, marsh, and island · Work together with the craft cabin director · Serve as a resource to program leaders concerning nature activities · Work with Grounds and Maintenance to open and maintain trails Community Life – (all staff members)
